Wisconsin State Society

For Washington, D.C., area residents who call Wisconsin "home"

Welcome to the Wisconsin State Society!

The Wisconsin State Society (WSS) was formed in 1904 by and for people who live in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, but still call Wisconsin “home.” The WSS is a non-profit organization that provides year-round opportunities for those with roots and pride in Wisconsin to get together, socialize and have a strong presence in our Nation’s Capitol.

The mission of the Wisconsin State Society is to bring people from Wisconsin together in the Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Northern Virginia region for social, civic and community service activities throughout the year.

The WSS is a member of the National Conference of State Societies.
