Living The Retirement Life in Beautiful Cuenca,Ecuador

I am a retired U.S. military officer now living in Ecuador.ч  Cuenca, Ecuador is the city I live in.

I have lived in South America for about 5 years now.ч  I discovered Ecuador and the low cost living of Ecuador when I first visited Cuenca.ч  The low costs and the quality of living are a perfect match for the American looking for a retirement location.

Cost of living in Ecuador in Ecuador is a fact.ч  The weather in Cuenca is perfect for my tastes. The weather is like San Diego.ч  Low of 55 degrees at night to a high of 75 in the day time.

The fruits and vegetables are wonderfully fresh.ч  Wait until you taste a fresh banana, not one that has been on the boat for 2 months.ч  You will probably find that your health improves due to the natural fruits, vegetables and juices.

The infrastructure of Ecuador is very satisfactory.ч  Communications, telephone and internet and of good quality.ч  Roads, bridges are in fairly good condition.ч  But, of course, not like the U.S.

Living in Ecuador has been a wonderful experience for me.ч

I am looking for a house right now in Cuenca. I am presently renting an apartment for $500 a month.ч  Very nice, modern, wood floors, over 3,000 sq. ft. 3 bedroooms, maids quarters, 4 1/2 bathrooms.

You will find that you can live here much cheaper than you can live in the U.S.
